ON-Q Board - Jeff McDermott

Jeff McDermid Secretary/Director

After a nine-year stint as partner with Ernst & Young, Jeff co-founded WMS Chartered Accountants with John Watter. Freed from the rigours of running a large firm, Jeff found himself in the position to apply his knowledge and expertise to a small and select clientele on a more intimate basis. Credentials are of course important, but an intuitive nature is paramount when dealing with the vagaries of running a mid to large sized company. He believes his time at the “coalface” with Ernst & Young and WMS has given him that knowledge. He is now committed to sharing some of what he has learned and applying it to ON-Q Human Resources along the sometimes rocky road of business.

ON-Q Board - Marie Gale

Marie Gale Director

Marie has been actively engaged in the disability sector for the past 10 years, in both the government and NGO sectors as well as undertaking research with Southern Cross University. Marie is passionate about social justice, human rights and wildlife conservation. She is driven by a strong sense of ethics and a commitment to good governance practices. Marie is also active in community development, ecotourism and conservation projects in Indonesia and is on the Board of EcoLodges Indonesia. Marie is a member of the Northern Rivers Regional Advisory Committee of the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NSW). She previously held senior executive positions in the IT industry in Japan.
